38degrees are asking for your views - if you want to help change the system - and create a decent political process in the UK. You can make a difference! Yes we can!

38 Degrees is a UK non-profit political activism organisation that campaigns on a diverse range of issues, such

as climate change, child poverty and political reform, to create positive changes. The organisation states

it aims to campaign for “fairness, defend rights, promote peace, preserve the planet and deepen democracy in

the UK.” [1] 38 Degrees does not have any political affiliations.[2]   (Wikipedia)

You can make a difference!  Yes we can!

This is some of what 38degrees recently sent to their supporters;

The results of our election survey are in.

95% of us think it's important for 38 Degrees to take action during the UK general election. With so many of us working together, we've got a real chance to make a difference. Now we need to decide what we should do.

For the next four weeks, thousands of us can discuss our plans together.

They have created a discussion area - but you need to sign up here - first - www.38degrees.org.uk

The discussion space is designed to be easy to find your way around. How much you do there is completely up to you – you can spend two minutes or two hours depending on how deep you want to go.

The more of us that get involved in deciding our plans, the stronger they'll be. Together we need to answer questions like:

Is there a particular issue which it makes sense to focus on during the election?

How much of an opportunity is there for an non-party political organisation to have an impact during the election?

Do we agree what we think the best (or worst) result from the general election would be?

What kind of practical actions could we take?

Please join the conversation and help decide what we do together: http://38degrees.achordus.net

Thanks for getting involved, we're all looking forward to reading your ideas,

David, Hannah, Johnny, Nina and the 38 Degrees Team

38 Degrees brings you together with other people to take action on the issues that matter to you and bring about real change.
